Ministries and Community Outreach

New Birth has a host of ministeries. We encourage all members -- both seasoned and brand new to partake.​
We have our Men's Ministry, which is responsible for reaching out to the community and helping those in need. They welcome men of all ages and telents.
We love for our children to be actively involved in the church. We have a youth liturgical dance team, youth choir, and some of our high school students are on the praise and worship team. In addition, we do have a Youth Ministry, and their specialty pertains to our youth.
Every Thursday, we have a Recovery Ministry. Recovering from what, you may ask. Well, we have trained professionals who are equipped to deal with grief, addiction, or any afflictions that you may be facing. Anything discussed will remain in the strictest of confidence. The Recovery Ministry meets every Thursday at 5:30 PM.

Pastor's Bible Study​
Pastor Dorsey hosts a weekly bible study on Wednesday evenings at 6 PM.
Praise and Worship Ministry

New Birth has three choirs: youth, men's, and the church choir. In addition, we have a Praise Team and adult and youth Liturgical dance teams.
The youth choir meets twice a month; every other Saturday.
Recovery Ministry​
